CBN is the very first discovered cannabinoid in the cannabis Sativa plant. This specific cannabinoid is somehow the same as CBD because it possesses non-intoxicating and non-psychoactive properties. CBN induces relief in a person due to its anti-inflammatory properties, while the antibacterial properties of CBN help fight against MRSA.

CBN is a by-product of THC, so people wonder if it can help them sleep better without causing the paranoia that comes with THC.

How CBN Works with ECS?

While the human body naturally contains cannabinoids, recent studies indicate cannabis cannabinoids may also benefit the human body by boosting the body’s natural cannabinoids. As a derivative of THC, CBN interacts with the endocannabinoid system in the same way that THC does.

Cannabinol has a significant impact on CB1 receptors like THC but with way less strength than THC. CB1 receptors are present in the nervous system, and CBN induction provides relief in the nervous system that leads to a calm sleep. The number of scientific research pieces is limited on CBN due to legal restrictions. However, a few studies on CBN have shown that this cannabinoid acts as an appetite stimulant and reduces insomnia.

Can CBN help you sleep better?

Insomnia is a constant phase of sleeplessness that is harmful to a person. If insomnia remains untreated, it may lead to major heart diseases and eventually death. CBN for insomnia seems like a suitable solution because this cannabinoid binds well with CB1 receptors in the human body. CBN can produce sedative effects in the body without any side effects. This sedative induction relieves insomnia and helps a person to get better sleep.

This amazing cannabinoid helps fight against insomnia naturally without causing any addiction, unlike regular sleeping pills. While CBN is effective for insomnia and sleep disorders, it is also used for many other medical conditions. CBN also reduces pain by activating capsaicin-sensitive sensory nerves via CB1 and CB2 receptors.

In this way, it reduces the body’s pain and induces calm sleep. CBN further helps in reducing inflammation, appetite stimulation, and heals bones, etc. In a nutshell, CBN can provide all these potential benefits without causing any side effects.

Sufficient Dose of CBN for Sleep

People often ask how much CBN they should take to get a good night’s sleep. But this question does not have one satisfactory answer because CBN dose varies from person to person based on their tolerance level and physical structure.

Most people who intake CBN through vaping have reported that a CBN dose between 1–6mg seems sufficient to get a peaceful sleep. Some people who do not prefer to vape CBN take between 4–66mg CBN orally to achieve their desired results.

In view of the wide dose range of CBN, people should begin their CBN use with small doses and gradually build up their tolerance.
